Who is Chris Galli? Chris Galli (NMLS #13152) is the Region Manager at Novus Home Mortgage, a division of Ixonia Bank, and leads The Galli Team, a family-run mortgage team based at 1317 3rd Ave W in Bradenton, Florida. In the mortgage industry since 1997, he specializes in loans other lenders turn down: self-employed and bank statement loans, DSCR investor loans, jumbo loans to $5 million, condos and borrowers denied elsewhere. He and his wife Julie live in Lakewood Ranch, and the team serves Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch while lending in all 50 states.
It started at a mortgage desk in 1997.
Chris Galli took his first mortgage industry job in 1997 and discovered something that would shape the next three decades: he genuinely loved helping people figure out home financing. Not the paperwork. The moment a family who thought they couldn't buy a home found out they could.
That entrepreneurial spirit he'd had since childhood kicked in fast. By 2003, Chris had opened his own mortgage brokerage. By 2006, he'd added a real estate company, because understanding both sides of the transaction makes you better at each. Through market booms, the 2008 crash and every cycle since, Chris kept doing the same thing: structuring loans other lenders couldn't figure out.
Today, Chris serves as Region Manager at Novus Home Mortgage, a division of Ixonia Bank, leading The Galli Team from Bradenton, Florida, and lending in all 50 states. With 29+ years in the industry, he's seen nearly every borrower situation there is: self-employed income that tax returns hide, investors who've outgrown conventional limits, first-time buyers with thin credit, families denied twice before finding us.
The specialty hasn't changed since 1997. We get loans approved when others say no.
A family team, side by side.
Chris and his wife Julie run The Galli Team side by side. Chris structures and closes the loans; Julie leads marketing and operations behind the scenes and is right beside him at closings, client events and Realtor meetups.
We live in Lakewood Ranch with our three children, in the same community many of our clients are buying into, and about twenty minutes from our office in downtown Bradenton. We're active in our church and community and still invest in and renovate properties ourselves, so when we talk to investors, we're talking as investors.
Our kids grew up around this business. Our son Christopher helps the team part-time while finishing his senior year at Florida State University, and our daughter Marleah is often by our side at community and real estate events. If you meet them, say hello.
